FIRE TELEPHONE SYSTEMS

Central Controller
The Central Control Unit consists of a master telephone and control switches for each line. This is connected to the main Central Control Enclosure containing the line interface circuitry, all audio and system control circuits and power supplies.

Remote Telephones
Each remote unit contains a monitored telephone mounted in a fire resilient wall mounting cabinet and is connected via a plug-in "B.T." type plug and socket. Once the handset is lifted a call to the central controller is automatically made, thus indicated on the handset informing the caller that no further action is required.

All remote telephones permit correct operation of the line fault system, this includes the removal of the telephone from its connector.
